Benjamin Bolton
Benjamin is a marketer with a decade of commercial experience in the technology sector. His career began at Google where for 5 years he was responsible for the commercial growth of YouTube in Europe, before joining video analytics business Tubular Labs as their second hire in Europe, leading international marketing there for 4 years.Benjamin is passionate about environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation, believing the climate crisis to be the greatest challenge civilisation has ever faced. This motivated his decision in early 2020 to transition career and focus on creating positive environmental impact.
Before joining On Purpose, Benjamin graduated from the founding cohort of digital climate school Terra.do and was trained by Al Gore as a Climate Reality leader.
Outside work, Benjamin aspires to make an impact through voluntary projects - including creating an emergency relief center delivering aid to victims of the Grenfell fire and more recently, setting up his local Covid-19 mutual aid group. He currently volunteers at the Climate Venture Collective advocating for a green pandemic recovery plan.
