Elizabeth Gilbert
Liz worked in education for 12 years before joining On Purpose. Her experience includes teaching English to children, teens and adults, with a focus on exams, such as Cambridge and IELTS, as well as running Summer education programmes for teens at an international school in London. She has taught and managed education programmes in the UK and in Latin America. Liz has a passion for educational inclusivity, and believes in the transformative power of education to help us better our lives. Her desire to do work that helps others led her to On Purpose, where she hopes to learn how to help larger numbers of people.She has a Master's degree in Latin American Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and a BA in Modern History from Oxford University.
An unashamed nerd, she loves reading, cooking and exercise, though not at the same time.
