StudentFunder exists to break down the financial barriers to postgraduate and professional education that hamper social mobility, innovation and growth. They are lead by their social mission but must act commercially and operate to rigorous consumer credit industry standards if they are to reach our full potential. They’ve been providing loans to students since the beginning of 2014 thanks to funds from peer to peer lenders but our ambitious growth targets mean they will need to find institutional and social investors to fund the loan pool. The On Purpose associates at StudentFunder will be helping to tackle this market, find the right investment structures and build operations to a national scale.
