Ugne Vaitiekunaite
Ugne grew up going on numerous hiking, camping and kayaking trips through which she developed a strong appreciation for nature. Therefore, as a business student, she primarily focused on the topic of corporate social and environmental responsibility.Curious to learn more about the global issues such as climate change, Ugne later joined international organisations in Germany, Belgium and Lithuania where she managed partnerships with various stakeholders and organised large scale events.
For the last 4.5 years Ugne worked in the sales department of a Microsoft partner company where she most recently managed a sales operations team.
She is now keen to explore how her business skills and knowledge gained in both, non-profit and private sectors, can contribute to helping solve the World's most pressing social and environmental problems.
Ugne holds an MBA from Vilnius University. In her spare time she still keeps on climbing mountains and spending time outdoors whenever she has a chance.
