At On Purpose, we attract and develop talented professionals to help develop and scale organisations using commercial approaches to create positive social or environmental change.
Our leadership programme brings mid-career professionals into the impact space and supports them to develop rapidly by matching them with purpose-led organisations to do impactful work, and providing them with a sector-leading leadership & development programme, including training, mentoring and coaching.
As a placement host you work successively with two of our participants (Associates) for six months each over the one-year programme. Our Associates undertake a wide variety of work, from one-off projects to day-to-day business roles, and from strategy through impact management to marketing .
3 reasons to host a placement
We work with a range of organisations including social enterprises, B Corps, social divisions of for-profit companies and commercially-minded charities.
The Associate Programme runs over a calendar year and we work with two cohorts each year, one beginning in April and the other in October. We are currently seeking partner organisations to become a placement host as part of our October 2022 cohort
To secure a place as a placement host arrange a call or a coffee to talk through the potential of working together, and sign a contract and complete a placement summary - a four-page document about your organisation and the project or work you'd like our Associates to deliver on.
Our well-oiled matching process allocates you two skilled and motivated Associates, recruited by On Purpose through a competitive and rigorous application process.
Associates begin their first placement, and work with you through to March 2023. Placement two begins end of March/beginning of April, and runs through to September 2023.
